Tuesday 3rd February
So, i've not been posting for a while, but in reality, I didn't have anything to say.
On the 3rd of Jan, I started a new challenge, with the aim of improving my general photography skills, so I've resurrected my old domain, and now present to you, My Photo-a-day challenge.
Monday 28th April
Woo:- New Saxophone is lovely, it's coming back remarkably quickly, I need to build up my diaphragm(that spelling looks odd) again, I was struggling with some of the longer phrases. Odd how I now warm up with scales and arpeggios, when I never bothered before.
meh:- Golf outing on Sunday was canceled, sadly not due to the rain, but my friend ended up working nights.
Woo:- Fun on the PS3, Completed another gig on GH:III (Ye Royale Odeon on Hard), even managed 4 stars on one song, completed R&C:ToD again, going to have another go and try and get all the holo-plans, might leave it for a bit though.
meh:- Disagreement/shouted conversation with another driver this morning, traffic was being very slow and I wasn't able to pull out across one lane into another, chap behind was in a hurry and we had words.
Monday 21st April
[Toys are teh Win]
I've been rather busy over the last six months, and many new toys have appeared in the house, not none as long-awaited, nor as fun as the one I picked up from down south over the weekend..
I've finally bought a Saxophone, a Yamaha Tenor Sax to be precise (YTS-275), it's been a long time since I've played a sax, which the 45 min 'lesson' I had prior to purchase showed.
I'm bouncing,.. this is a good thing, A sax has been on my shopping list since I left Secondary School in '97.
Thursday 27th September
Well, my photographs are up
HERE, some of them I quite like. they do actually have EXIF information embedded in them, except Apache::Gallery isn't picking up on that fact, I blame Aperture, as i've not tweaked any of the setting on the Gallery.
Which reminds me, one of these days I'll actually integrate the gallery with the rest of the site design, it _should_ be simple enough, it just requires one of those mystical round tuits.
The convention itself was nice and relaxing, I lost a bit of money at poker, (mainly down to a night when i hit the whisky too hard), won some money at poker, no limit cash games are fun. It was good to see some old friends, some of whom I haven't seen since last year.
Managed to almost pass 7 clubs, Martin and I spent maybe 30 mins working on it, and it was starting to feel close towards the end.
Wednesday 13th June
Just thought I'd share one of my most recent photos with you, it's the current desktop image on my laptop.
(Black-headed Gull, taken off the pier at Bowmore, Islay)
In other news, i re-installed scalix, (it was quicker than going through the steps to re-do the ip config for it), after re-compiling the kernel to allow access to the full 2G in the box :) fetchmail integration is next, followed by some testing of outlook integration.
